I tried this shoe for its cross-trainer with a Gore-Tex aspect. The shoe feels okay, and for the price (with the Gore-Tex) is a decent deal. However, I sent these back for two reasons. First, the toe box has a strange, unnecessary height to it, which allows the front half of my foot to leave the footbed with each step. The width and length of the shoe I tried seemed fine, so this height issue is strange to me. Second, the sole lacks sufficient traction for my needs. I only wore these in the house for a day, and on my clean, dry kitchen floor, they seemed to skid and slip. Since I frequently encounter wet logs on hiking trails or water running across concrete sidewalks, having a shoe slip when dry seems like insufficient traction. Overall, the shoe is comfortable as far as cushion and support. But there seems to be an unusual amount of vertical space in it.
